BabyFirst adalah perusahaan media yang memproduksi dan mendistribusikan tayangan batita dan balita melalui program televisi, internet, dan aplikasi seluler. Konten tayangan ditujukan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pengenalan warna, berhitung dan kosakata untuk bayi.
Sejarah
Asal
Didirikan pada tahun 2004 oleh Guy Oranim dan Sharon Rechter, BabyFirst melakukan siaran pertama kali melalui DirecTV pada 2006. BabyFirst menandatangani kesepakatan penyiaran di Eropa,[1] Timur Tengah dan Kanada[2] pada akhir 2007. Saluran ini sangat kontroversial sebagai saluran 24 jam untuk anak usia 6 hingga 36 bulan, tetapi sangat populer diantara orang tua dan anak lebih dewasa. Di kawasan Asia Pasifik, BabyFirst menayangkan programnya di 10 negara seperti China dan Korea Selatan. Pada 2009, HBO Asia menjadi distributor eksklusif untuk channel di Asia.[3]
