Asity adalah satu keluarga burung, Philepittidae, yang mana adalah endemik di Madagascar. Asity mengandungi empat spesies dalam dua genera. Spesies Neodrepanis dikenali sebagai asity-kelicap dan dahulunya dikenali sebagai "kelicap palsu".[1]

Philepitta kini merupakan genus-jenis bagi satu keluarga burung baharu, Philepittidae, di mana spesies asity dari Madagascar diletakkan.[2]
