Arwi (لسان الأروي, lisān-ul-arwī atau lisān al-arwi, lit. "lidah Arwi";[1] அரவி-தமிழ், aravi-tamil atau Aravo-Tamil) ialah laras bertulis bahasa Tamil yang menggunakan abjad Arab.[2] Ia biasanya mempunyai pengaruh leksikon yang luas daripada bahasa Arab.[1] Arwi dahulu digunakan secara meluas oleh minoriti Muslim dari negeri Tamil Nadu di India dam Sri Lanka.[bila?][1] Kebanyakan madrasah masih mengajar asas Arwi sebagai sebahagian daripada kurikulum mereka .
