Arar (disebut [a.rar]; serapan Arab: عَرْعَر‎, rumi: `ar`ar,[1] Ibrani: עַרְעָר, rumi: 'ar'ar) adalah sebuah genus tumbuhan kerunjung dari keluarga Cupressaceae. Tergantung pada sudut pandang taksonomi, antara 50 dan 67 spesies Juniperus sebahagian besar tersebar di seluruh Hemisfera Utara, dari Artik, sampai wilayah tropika Afrika di Dunia Lama, dan pegunungan Amerika Tengah dan Ziarat, Pakistan. Hutan arar tertinggi yang diketahui terdapat di ketinggian 4,900 meter di tenggara Tibet dan utara Himalaya, menjadikannya salah satu jalur pohon tertinggi di bumi.[2]
