Akropolis Athens

Akropolis (Gr. akros, akron, tepi, lampau + polis bandar, j. acropoleis; harfiah bandar di tepian; ertinya "bandar tertinggi")[1] merujuk kepada tempat tinggi peninggalan sejarah di Yunani. Antara akropolis yang paling terkenal ialah Akropolis Athens yang mempunyai beberapa bangunan sejarah yang terkenal didirikan di atasnya.
