Akhauri

Akhauri merupakan satu monastari Buddha di Taxila di utara Pakistan, yang termasuk dalam tempoh awal Kushan (kurun pertama C.E.). Akhauri memberikan contoh jelas mengenai striktur pengasasan Buddha pada tempoh tersebut. Terdapat laman utama dengan laluan masuk dari utara. Bilik dibina sekitar dinding halaman luar, mengadap ke dalam.

Terdapat dua bilik perkumpulan, dua chapel, setiap satu mengandungi stupa, dan barisan bilik kecil para sami. Halaman lebih kecil dengan 11 bilik kecil kemudiannya ditambah di sebelah barat.
