Advent ialah sebuah kugiran hardcore dari Kernersville, North Carolina. Kugirannya menampilkan ahli kumpulan post-hardcore sebelum ini bernama Beloved, dan telah dibentukkan pada tahun 2005 selepas pemecahan Beloved.[6] Mereka telah mengeluarkan dua album di bawah label Solid State Records.[7] Mereka mengumumkan pada Julai 2011 bahawa mereka telah dibubarkan, dan masing-masing mengadakan dua pertunjukan terakhir pada 2 dan 3 September di South Carolina dan North Carolina. Mereka, setakat 2015, telah bersatu semula dan mengeluarkan album baharu bertajuk, Pain and Suffering.[8] Mereka baru-baru ini telah diikat kepada Bridge 9.[5]. Mereka telah dipanggil "...salah satu eksport paling berat dari negeri tersebut..."[9]
