GPR98
گیرندهٔ شمارهٔ ۹۸ جفتشونده با پروتئین جی (انگلیسی: G protein-coupled receptor 98) که با نام VLGR1 هم شناخته میشود، یک پروتئین است که در انسان توسط ژن «GPR98» کُدگذاری میشود.[۵]
چندین نسخهٔ رونویسی مختلف از این ژن تاکنون کشف شدهاست.[۵] این ژن پروتئینی را کد میکند که به کلسیم میچسبد و در دستگاه عصبی مرکزی بیان میشود.
در ژنوم توتیای دریایی نیز، ژنی همسان با VLGR1 مشاهده شدهاست.[۶]
اهمیت بالینی
جهش در این ژن با بروز «نشانگان آشر» و «تشنج ناشی از تب خانوادگی» مرتبط است.[۵]
