Vokalezo

Vokalezo estas stilo de ĵaz-kantado, je kiu kantisto imitas la ludadon de instrumentoj kiel la saksofono. Male al la skatkantado ili uzas je tio ne sensencajn silabojn, sed kantotekstojn. La baza muzikpeco estas origine nurinstrumenta ĵaza normkanto. Pioniro de vokalezo estis en la 1940-aj jaroj Eddie Jefferson, kies tekstojn King Pleasure en 1952 famigis („In the Mood for Love“).
