Vestkodo
Vestkodo estas socia kodo kiu indikas la veston taŭgan por speciala okazaĵo. La plej multaj vestaj kodoj estas kulture difinitaj. Koncernas parte pri leĝaj postuloj kaj parte pri postuloj de kompanioj rilate dungitoj aŭ klientoj aŭ de lernejoj rilate gelernantoj k.t.p. Krom tio estas reguloj pri kiuj malobeo estas ne akceptataj aŭ rigardata kiel stranga, sed ne kondukas al sankcio aŭ rifuzo.
Vestkodo sur invitiloj
Por eviti miskomprenojn plej ofte sur formala invitilo por iu okazaĵo oni ankaŭ mencias la vestan kodon.
Por sinjoroj:
- Formala: frako (angle:white tie)
- Duon-formala: smokingo (angle:black tie)
- Deca: urba vestaro (france:tenue de ville)
- Neformala: kompleto
- Komuna: ĉiutagaj vestoj
