Universall

Universall estas apriora planlingvo kreita de Francis Lodwick en 1647 kaj proponita en 1652.

Li publikigis en 1652 projekton pri planlingvo en la verko: "The Groundwork or Foundation Laid (or so Intended) for the Framing of a New Perfect Language and an Universall or Common Writing" ("La fundamento lasita (aŭ tiaintence) por la strukturado de nova perfekta lingvo kaj universala aŭ komuna skribmaniero"). Ĉi tiu, eble, estas la unua propono de universala lingvo prezentita en Britio. En tiu apriora lingvo, "Honoru vian patron kaj patrinon" skribiĝis: leb2314 p2477 pf2477, kaj elparoliĝis: lebtoreonfo peeto-fosensen piftosense.

Tiu projekto estas grava ĉar estas planlingvo pri kiu L. L. Zamenhof eksciis kiam kreis Esperanton.
