Tumedoj, Tümed (Tumad, en ĉina 土默特部; "multaj aŭ dek mil" derivita el la unua "tumen") estas subgrupo de Mongoloj. Ili vivas en la maldekstra distrikto Hoĥoto kaj en la dekstra distrikto Baŭtoŭo en Ĉinio. Plej dediĉas sin al malnomada agrikulturo, loĝante en miksaj komunumoj en la ĉeurbo Hoĥoto. Partoj el ili laŭlonge de Hulun Buir, Interna Mongolio. Estas tumedoj en la areoj de Mandal-Ovoo, Bulgan, Cogt-Ovoo, Cogtcecii, Manlai, Ĥurmen, Baĝandalai kaj Sevrei de Umnugovi Aimag, Mongolio.

El la komenco de la 9-a jarcento ĝis la komenco de la 13-a jarcento, la Ĥori-Tumedoj vivis ĉe la okcidenta flanko de la lago Baikal. Ili vivis en tio kio estas nuntempe suda Irkutska provinco, en kelkaj partoj de Tuvio kaj en sudokcidenta Burjatio.[1] En 1207, Ĝingis-Ĥano, post la konkero de la Ĥori-Tumedoj, decidis translokigi kelkajn el tiuj grupoj suden kaj tiuj popoloj finfine setliĝis en sudaj partoj de la Granda Dezerto Gobio. Sed ŝajne la tumedoj ne havis fortajn konektojn kun la arbaraj popoloj en Siberio.
