Tennis aŭ Tinnis estis mezepoka urbo en Egiptio. Ties nuntempa teritorio estas sur insulo en la Lago Manzala, sudokcidente de Port Said.

La nomo de la urbo derivas el tiu de la Lago Tinnis, kiu estis iam la nomo de la Lago Manzala.[1]

Tennis estis grava havenurbo, el kiu oni eksportis agrikulturajn produktojn de Egiptio, partikulare tekstilojn, pro kies produktado la urbo mem estis fama[2] tra la tuta Mezoriento, kaj pro sia geografia loko ĝi utilis kiel la ĉefa orienta alfluanto de Nilo laŭ Muhammad al-Idrisi en mezepoka epoko.
