Tanguta Imperio (1038–1227).

Tangutoj (en tanguta lingvo: mjɨ nja̱ aŭ mji dzjwo; en ĉina: 党項, dǎngxiàng) estis Tibet-Birma triba unio kiu loĝis en Okcidenta Xia. Tiu grupo vivis sub regado de la regno Tuĝuhun[1] kaj translokiĝis al Nordokcidenta Ĉinio iam antaŭ la 10a jarcento kaj trafi la teritorion de Okcidenta Xia tiam Tanguta Imperio (1038–1227). Ili parolis la tangutan lingvon, nome unu el la Cjang lingvaro kiu apartenas al la tibetbirma familio.[2]
