22° 40′ 26.6″ N 82° 8′ 48.72″ U / 22.674056 °N, 82.1468667 °U / 22.674056; -82.1468667 (mapo) La Strando Mayabeque (hispane "Playa Mayabeque") situas je 13 km de la centro de Melena del Sur; inter la Strandeto de Batabanó kaj Strando Rosario, sude de la provinco Mayabeque, en Kubo. Ĝiaj akvoj estas kotecaj kaj la lokanoj ĝin atribuas sanaj ecoj. Krom la strando, en ĝi troviĝas la elfluejo de la rivero Mayabeque kiu igas ĝin turisma allogaĵo.

Laŭ la historiistoj, estis en tiuj marbordoj kie unuafoje fondiĝis la urbo Havano en 1515 antaŭ la definitiva translokiĝo al la norda marbordo. Pro tiu probablaĵo, en la blazono de la urbeto Melena del Sur, aperas la latinlingva moto «HIC PRIMO HABANA CONDITA EST», t.e.: Ĉi tie unuafoje estis fondita Havano.
