Salzburger Chronik (trad. kroniko de Salcburgo) estis romkatolika gazeto en Aŭstrio kiu aperis inter 1865 kaj 1938 en Salcburgo. Ĝis 1873 ĝi nomiĝis Salzburger Chronik für Stadt und Land, kaj la en 1938 posteulanta produkto portis la nomon Salzburger Zeitung.[1]

Komence temis pri semajngazeto sed ekde 1867 po tri numerojn por semajno oni presis. Por povi konkurenci ĝi iĝis en 1882 eĉ taggazeto.

Historio

Fondis ĝin en 1876 la estro de la Porpastra seminario de Salcburgo, Johann Zimmermann. Unua eldonisto estis Joseph Schwer, kiun posteulis inter 1887 kaj 1897 la unua ministroprezidanto de Salcburgio Alois Winkler kaj poste Sebastian Danner. De 1908 ĝis malapero posedantis kaj eldonistis la grupo Salzburger Preßverein. Redaktisto estis tie ekz. la politikisto kaj pastro Leonhard Steinwender.

Komence la rubrikoj malmultis. Ĉ. la 1870-a jaro ekzistis felietono, tagraporto, korespondadoj, pripersonaj informoj, eltiraĵoj el la proklamilo de la publikaj institucioj kaj oficejoj Amtsblatt kaj la aktualaj borsokursoj respektive la greno-prezoj. Post la eksplodo de la Unua mondmilito multis engazete la primilitaj informoj, memkompreneble.
