Safuno
Xaphoon (Esperante : Safuno), estas kromnomata "Bambua saksofono" aŭ unuobla-anĉa instrumento. Ĝi havas cilindran tubon kun cilindran boraĵon kaj iomete ekflamitan sonon. La Safuno ludeblas plene je kromata skalo iom preter 2 oktavoj kaj preterblovado ĉe la 12a, kiel klarneto.
La unua Safuno, elfariĝis el bambuo en la jaro 1972, estis spontanea faro de Brian Wittman (Havaja saksofonisto kaj plurmuzikisto) krei instrumenton por juna infano kiu ŝatis la sonon de la saksofono. Wittman impresis la sonon de la simpla instrumento kaj laŭ postulo de aliaj li komencis fabriki kaj vendi ĝin.[1]
