BALLENEGGER Róbert estis hungara agrogeologo, universitata profesoro, laŭreato de Kossuth-premio (1957) naskita en Temeŝvaro la 11-an de novembro 1882 kaj mortinta en Bp. la 13-an de novembro 1969.

Biografio

Róbert Ballenegger studis en la Universitato de Budapeŝto (1900–1905), poste en la Instituto de Ampelologio, pli poste li fariĝis asistanto en Selmecbánya (Bányászati és Erdészeti Főiskola) (1908–1909). En 1910 oni nomumis lin al Sekcio Agrogeologia de Hungara Ŝtata Geologia Instituto. Inter 1922–1940 li estis profesoro de Instituto de Ĝardenado. Oni habilitis lin privatprofesoro en 1919 en la teknikuniversitato de Budapeŝto, kies de 1931 li estis publika eksterordinara profesoro. Li estis gastprofesro en Usono kaj Francio. Li publikigis pli ol ducent studojn kaj librojn.
