Qntal (kantal) estas germana muzikgrupo fondita en la jaro 1991 de muzikisto de Deine Lakaien, Ernst Horn, kune kun Michael Popp, kiu antaŭe fondis la bandon Estampie. Qntal estas projekto kiu adaptas tradiciplenajn mezepokajn tekstojn kaj melodiojn celante al ligado inter avangarda elektroniko kaj ŝvebanta ina kantado kun mezepokaj instrumentoj.

La repertuaron konsistigas tekstoj en mezaltgermana kaj malnovgermana, latina, angla, provenca lingvoj. Qntal tre valoras historie ĝustajn prononcon kaj akcenton.
