Policejo
Policejo estas loko, plej ofte oficejo kun karcerĉelo aŭ arestejo kie deĵoras policanoj, sub la komando de ĉefo aŭ komisaro.[1] Tiel la laboro de policanoj disvolviĝas kaj en la policejo kaj ekstere. Policejo estas la sidejo de polico. Oni uzas ankaŭ nomojn polic-stacio kaj komisarejo.
Plej ofte, policanoj arestas suspektitojn ekstere, portas tiun al la policejo, tiel ili faras unuajn esplorojn, pridemandadojn ktp., kaj poste ili estas metitaj je dispono de la juĝa aŭtoritato, kiu disponos ĉu liberecon, ĉu provizoran liberigon, ĉu provizoran malliberigon, ĉu nepran malliberigon ĝis juĝado.
