Planorbedoj, laŭ scienca nomo Planorbidae, laŭ ordinara nomo kornohelikoj, estas familio de aer-spiraj nesalakvaj helikoj, akvaj pulmohavaj gastropodaj moluskoj. Malkiel ĉe plej moluskoj, ili estas aer-spiraj helikoj kiuj uzas fer-bazitan hemoglobinon anstataŭ la kupro-bazitan hemocianinon por porti la oksigenon tra sia sango.[1] Kiel rezulto, planorbedoj kapablas spiri oksigenon pli efike ol aliaj moluskoj. La ekzisto de hemoglobino havigas al la korpo ruĝecan koloron. Tio estas speciale videbla ĉe albinaj animaloj.

Estante aerspiraj kiel aliaj Panpulmonata, planorbedoj ne havas brankojn, sed anstataŭe havas unu pulmon. La piedo kaj kapo de planorbedoj estas malgrandaj, dum iliaj fadenecaj tentakloj estas relative longaj. Multaj el la specioj de tiu familio havas spiralajn konkojn kiuj estas ebenspiralaj, alivorte, la konkoj estas pli malpli spiralaj kaj ebenaj, anstataŭ havi altan spiralon kiel ĉe plej el la konkoj de gastropodoj.
