Pierre-Joseph Macquer (1718-1784) estis franca kuracisto kaj kemiisto, profesoro pri kemio en la Ĝardeno de la Plantoj de Parizo, oponanto de Antoine Lavoisier kaj aŭtoro de "Dictionnaire de la chymie" (Prikemia vortaro). Li estis lernanto de la renoma svisa kuracisto Louis Odier (1748-1817), kreinto de la bazo por la Tabelo pri Mortotakso de la Svisa loĝantaro.
