Perkomputila eldonado

Perkomputila kompostado — aŭ, laŭ la angla termino perkomputila eldonado (angle Desktop publishing, DTP) — estas la kompostado kaj enpaĝigo de dokumentoj per komputilo por presado. Plej ofte temas pri libroj, revuoj ktp.

Por perkomputila kompostado oni uzas specialan programaron, kiaj ekz-e la programoj QuarkXPress aŭ Adobe InDesign, kreitaj por tiu celo. Tiaj programoj ne anstataŭas tekstoredaktilojn kaj grafikajn programojn, sed estas uzataj por enpaĝigi enhavon kreitan per aliaj programoj: tekstojn, bildojn kaj fotojn.

Kiam materialo estas preta por publikigo, kutime oni kreas PDF-dosieron, kiun komercaj presistoj povas uzi por krei presbildojn.

Perkomputila eldonado ekestis en 1985, kuniginte la programaron Aldus Pagemaker, Apple Macintosh komputilo kaj Apple LaserWriter, por $7000 la unua lasera printilo kiu uzis la paĝopriskriban lingvon de Adobe Postscript, inkluzive de skaleblaj tiparoj en formato Type 1.
