Patrick Volkerding [Patrik Folkerding] (naskiĝis je 20-a de oktobro 1966) estas kreinto kaj evoluiganto de Linuks-distribuaĵo Slackware. Volkerding estas "Dumviva bonvola diktatoro" de Slackware, ankaŭ iomete estas konata kiel "The Man." (la homo).[1]

Biografio

Volkerding iĝis Sciencbakalaŭro de komputika scienco el Minnesota State University Moorhead je 1993.

Volkerding estas ŝatanto de roko (angle en:Deadhead), eĉ je aprilo 1994 jam vizitis 75 koncertojn.[2]

Volkerding estas avida bierumulo. Fruaj versioj de Slackware ofte petis sendi al li bieron kiel dankon pro lia laboro.

Je 2014, Volkerding ricevis na O'Reilly Open Source Award.[3]
