Orbito (anatomio)

En anatomio, orbito estas la kavaĵo aŭ truo de la kranio, kie situantas la okulo kaj la aldonaj strukturoj. "Orbito" povas aludi al la osta truo,[1] aŭ ĝi povas esti uzata ankaŭ por aludi al ties enhavo.

Ĉe homaj plenkreskuloj, la volumeno de la orbito estas 30 ml, el kio la okulo okupas 6.5 ml.[2]
