Mai (ĉ. 1751-1780), miskonata kiel Omai en Britio, estis juna ano el Raiatea kiu iĝis la dua indiĝeno el Pacifiko kiu vizitis Eŭropon, post Ahu-toru kiu estis alportita al Parizo fare de Louis Antoine de Bougainville en 1768.

Omai renkontiĝis kun Samuel Wallis en 1767 kaj kun la kapitano James Cook en 1769 en Tahitio.[1] En Aŭgusto 1773 li enŝipiĝis el Huahine sur la brita ŝipo HMS Adventure, komandita de la komandanto Tobias Furneaux, kiu estis veninta al Tahitio kiel parto de la dua malkovra vojaĝo de James Cook en Pacifiko. Omai veturis al Eŭropo per la Adventure, kaj alvenis al Londono en Oktobro 1774 kie li estis prezentita en la Brita socio fare de la naturalisto Sir Joseph Banks (kun kiu li estis renkontiĝinta dum la unua vojaĝo de Cook).[2]
