La Musa apodo aŭ Musa apuso (Schoutedenapus myoptilus) estas apuso de la genro Schoutedenapus kaj fakte la nura specio de la genro. Ĝi havas disan teritorion tra Afromontano: Kameruna linio, Albert-riftaj montarbaroj, Kenjo, Tanzanio, Malavio kaj Mozambiko.
Ĝi estas la nura specio en la genro Schoutedenapus. Apuso de Schouteden (Schoutedenapus schoutedeni) estis dekomence konsiderata aparta specio, sed poste oni komprenis, ke ĝi estas pli malhela junulo aŭ preskaŭ plenkreskulo de la subspeciochapini de Musa apodo.[1][2]
Oni agnoskis jenajn tri subspeciojn:
- Schoutedenapus myoptilus myoptilus (Salvadori, 1888) — de Etiopio ĝis Zimbabvo;
- Schoutedenapus myoptilus poensis (Alexander, 1903) — Bioko;
- Schoutedenapus myoptilus chapini (Prigogine, 1957) — oriento de la Demokratia Respubliko Kongo, Ruando kaj sudokcidento de Ugando.
