Monoplacophora

Monoplacophora, kun la signifo "portanta ununuran platon", tiel ankaŭ monoplakoforoj aŭ unuplatforoj, estas polifiletika superklaso de moluskoj kun kaskedformaj konkoj nuntempe vivantaj ĉe la fundo de maro. Nuntempaj reprezentantoj ne estis rekonataj ĝis 1952; antaŭe ili estis konataj nur el fosilia registro, kaj oni supozis, ke ili estis formortintaj antaŭ 375 milionoj da jaroj.[1]

Kvankam la konko de multaj monoplakoforoj estas simila al tiu de pateloj laŭ formo, ili ne estas gastropodoj, nek ili havas proksiman rilaton al gastropodoj.[2]
