Mac OS (angla) estas serio de operaciumoj de Apple por la serio de komputiloj Makintoŝo. La aktuala versio estas Mac OS X, kiu estas Unix-, OpenStep-, kaj Darwin-bazita. La unua versio de Mac OS (nomita poste) aperis en 1984, kiam oni nomis ĝin simple System software (sistema programaro). Fruaj versioj de Mac OS funkciis nur per Motorola-68000-aj Makintoŝoj. Kiam Apple disponebligis komputilojn PowerPC-ajn, tiu ŝanĝiĝis. Mac OS X nun funkcias kun kaj PowerPC-a kaj Intel-a komputiloj.
