Liptrilo
Liptrilo estas ornammaniero je blovinstrumentoj. Anstataŭ preni la trilon per la fingroj, oni ludas ĝin nur per la lipoj.
Ĉi tiun teknikon virtuoze regis aparte la trumpetistoj de la |barokepoko, kiuj nure uzis senvalvajn trumpetojn kaj pro tio devis formi ĉiujn tonojn per la lipoj. Komponaĵoj el postaj epokoj ankaŭ postulis liptrilojn de latunblovistoj kaj de transversflutistoj. Aparte grava nuntempe estas liptriloj en la ĵazmuziko: el la muziko por ĵazandegoj ili ne estus forpenseblaj. Liptrilojn enkondukis en ĵazon trobonisto Jack Teagarden.
Latunblovistoj uzas liptrilojn kiel ekzerco por la malstreĉado kaj varmigo de la lipoj.
