Lanugo
Lanugo estas tre delikata, maldika kaj malpeza plumaro, kovranta la ventron de birdoj sub la dikaj plumoj kaj la tutan korpon de la birdidoj. En ĝia strukturo ne troviĝas hoketoj (vidu konstruon de plumo).
Ĝi uzatas por plenigi kusenojn, peplomojn.
La nocio estas analoge uzata por similaj molaj harkovraĵoj de plantoj aŭ plantopartoj, ekz. semlanugo de kotonujo.
La nocio estas analoge uzata por tre delikata hararo, unuafoje kreskanta sur la lipoj, vangoj kaj mentono de junuloj[1].
Pli ĝenerale la termino uzatas pri io samdelikata kiel lanugo (ekz. subfelo de kaproj aŭ ŝafoj)[2].
