Kriptogramo estas speco de enigmo. Du 'versioj' ekzistas:

Kriptaj krucvortenigmoj

Por nederlandlingvanoj, kriptogramo estas speco de krucvortenigmo, kie pere de kripta indico, oni serĉu la solvon.

Ekzemple: Riĉa eŭropano kiu ŝatas ludi.

Solvo:

riĉa rilatas al 'mono'
eŭropano estas ekzemple 'polo'
mono + polo = monopolo
kaj: 'monopolo' estas ludo.

Kriptaj mesaĝoj

Por anglalingvanoj aŭ francoj, kriptogramo estas alia speco de ludo, kie ĉiu litero estas sisteme anstataŭigita per alia letero por formi 'sekretan mesaĝon'.
