Kofolao (ĉeĥe kaj slovake Kofola, en E-o Kofolo) estas senalkohola kolaa gastrinkaĵo, kiu estis elpensita en jaro 1959 en Ĉeĥoslovakio kiel alternativo al tiam nehaveblaj konkurencaj trinkaĵoj Koka-kolao aŭ Pepsi.

Historio

Kofolao estis evoluita en Esplorinstituto de kuracherboj en Prago en teamo, kiun gvidis doc. RNDr. PhMr. Zdeněk Blažek, CSc. En jaro 1959 li finis evoluadon de originala siropo Kofo, miksaĵo de herbaj kaj fruktaj ekstraktoj kun kafeino. El tiu siropo oni komencis produkti gase satigatan limonadon nomitan Kofola.[1]
