Kafeterio estas manĝejo kie oni ĉefe manĝas hastmanĝojn kiel pomfritoj, krokedoj, printemporuloj k.t.p.
Oni mem prenas la manĝaĵojn de bufedo aŭ vendilo kaj ofte manĝas stare.
Kelkfoje oni ankaŭ vendas trinkaĵojn kaj estas kelkaj sidlokoj.
Manĝejo en lernejo aŭ kazerno ankaŭ ofte nomiĝas kafeterio.
