János Rab diplomitiĝis pri geografio-biologio en UBB de Kluĵo (1968). Li instruis en Ciucsângeorgiu, Ciumani, de 1975 en Gheorgheni. Li translokiĝis en Hungarujon. Li doktoriĝis pri biologio.
