Israel KOLMODIN (1643-1709) estis sveda teologo kaj himnopoeto. Li studis en la Universitatoj de Lund kaj Upsalo. En Upsalo li estis pastro kaj profesoro. Nuntempe li estas konata speciale kiel skribanto de la himno Den blomstertid nu kommer. Tamen ne estas tute certeco pri la skribinto de tiu kanto.
