Insulo Rusinga, de longeca formo proks. 16 km de pinto al pinto kaj 5 km ĉe ties plej larĝa parto, kuŝas en la orienta parto de la Lago Viktorio ĉe la enfluo de la Golfo Winam. Parto de Kenjo, ĝi estas ligata al Mbita Point en la ĉeftero pere de digvojo.[1]
