Ideokratio estas sistemo de regado aŭ de politika kaj socia organizado bazita sur monisma ideologio. Temas pri politikaj sistemoj en kiuj ekzistas ideologio dominanta profunde enradikigita en politiko en kiu, ĝenerale, la politiko estas ĉeestanta en la majoritato aŭ en ĉiuj aspektoj de la socio.[1][2] La ideologio de ideokratio montriĝas kiel absoluta, universala kaj suprema sistemo por la kompreno de la socia vivo, simile al tiu de dio en monoteisma religio.
