Cimoj aŭ heteropteroj (scienclatine: Heteroptera) estas insektoj en la ordo hemipteroj. La heteropterojn konsistigas pli ol 30 000 specioj, kaj teraj kaj akvaj.
Ili havas du parojn da flugiloj (la antaŭa paro estas parte korneca), longajn antenojn, kaj pikan-suĉan buŝ-organon. Plej multaj specioj nutras sin per suko de plantoj. Kelkaj specioj bezonas homan aŭ bestan sangon, kiel la litocimoj.
Nomo
La vorto «heteroptero» originas de la antikvagrekaj vortoj ἕτερος «malsimila» kaj πτερόν «flugilo».
La vorto «cimo» estas fundamenta komuna nomo por ĉia heteroptero. En bestoscienco, ĝi povas indiki ankaŭ specife la heteropteran genron Cimex.[1][2]
