La Hasseröder bierfarejo startis en 1872 sub la nomo “Zum Auerhahn,” (Al la urogalo) en la kvartalo Hasserode en Wernigerode Germanio. En 1882 Ernst Schreyer transprenis la estradon de la bierfarejo. En 1896 la bierfarejo fariĝis "Aktiengesellschaft" aŭ AG (AK), kaj en la sama jaro produktis 25.000 hektolitrojn da biero. Hodiaŭ, la bierfarejo estas “Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung” aŭ GmbH (Klr) posedata de Anheuser–Busch InBev. Hasseröder estas numero 6 inter la plej bone vendantaj bierfarejoj en Germanio.
