DARVAS Gábor [darvaŝ] estis (naskita la 18-an de januaro 1911 en Satmaro; mortinta la 18-a de februaro 1985 en Budapeŝto) hungara komponisto kaj muzikhistoriisto .

Biografio

Gábor Darvas inter 1926-1928, respektive 1929-32 estis disĉiplo de Fázmán F. (fagoto) kaj Zoltán Kodály (komponado) en muzikarta altlernejo en Budapeŝto. Inter 1939-1948 li vivis en Chile kiel asistanto de kapelestro de Erich Kleiber. Kiel muzikologo li publikis plurajn fakartikolojn. Post kiam li venis hejmen estis en 1949-50 programredaktoro de Hungara Radio, ekde 1953 ĝis 1961 klasikmuzika lektoro.
