Guardiano

Guardiano[1] (latine: guardianus) estas la ofica titolo de la domsuperuloj ĉe ĉiuj ordenkomunumoj, kiuj sekvas la regulojn de la minoraj fratoj (ekz. kapucenoj, franciskanoj).

Guardiano estas nomumiĝanta, nuntempe por periodo de tri jaroj, fare de la provinca kapitulo. Lia viculo nomiĝas vikario. Ja Francisko el Asizo mem kreis ĉi titolon. Testamente li prezentis la ordenajn superajn oficojn custos (do ĉefa posteno kun respondeco de monaĥaro, malsupre de provincestro) kaj guardianus. Li intencis ne uzi terminojn kiel superulo aŭ prioro.[2][3]
