Taksonomio

La genron Glaucis enkondukis en 1831 la germana zoologo Friedrich Boie.[1] La tipa specio estis elektita la Rufbrusta ermitkolibro fare de George Robert Gray en 1840.[2][3] La genronomo devenas el la Antikva greka glaukos signife "blu-griza" aŭ "palverda".[4]
