Georg Gebel - naskiĝis la 25-an de oktobro 1709 en Brieg (nun Brzeg en Pollando), mortis 43-jara la 24-an de septembro 1753 en Rudolstadt - estis germana muzikisto kaj komponisto. Ankaŭ lia patro nomiĝis Georg Gebel, kaj estis orgenisto en Breslau (la nuna pola Vroclavo). Li eltrovis frue la talenton de sia filo kaj edukis lin muzike, sed tro postulis lin formigante mirinfanon.
La knabo plenumadis la patran volon: lernis ludi orgenon kaj aliajn instrumentojn, lernis komponi. Georg Gebel, la filo, verkis 12 operojn, pli da 100 simfoniojn, koncertojn, ĉambromuzikaĵojn, 3 oratoriojn, 144 diservajn kantatojn.
Laste li estris la kortegan orkestron en Dresdeno. Li ankaŭ pentris bildojn. Liaj bildoj ne plu ekzistas. Ĉar li laboradis nelacigeble, li mortis jam kiel 44-aĝulo. Nur liaj oratorioj kaj 69 kantatoj ekzistas ankoraŭ.
