Gelse [gelŝe] estas vilaĝo en Hungario, en regiono Okcidenta Transdanubio, en departemento Zala, en Distrikto Nagykanizsa.

Gelse situas sur mildaj deklivoj, laŭ kanalo Principális, laŭ flankovojoj, laŭ fervojo Szombathely-Nagykanizsa. La lasta urbo troviĝas 17, Zalakaros 24, Zalaegerszeg 36, Budapeŝto 207 km-ojn.

Historio

La unua mencio devenis en 1280 en formo "Guelse". Post la mezepoko la turkoj faris senhoma la vilaĝon, kiu rehomiĝis en la 18-a jarcento.
