Foledoj

Foledoj estas familio, Pholidae, de maraj fiŝoj en la ordo Perkoformaj. Ili estas longecaj, iome angilecaj fiŝoj kiuj havas teritorion el la intertajda zono al profundoj de 200 m, kvankam la majoritato troviĝas en neprofundaj akvoj. Plej estas limigitaj al la Norda Pacifiko, kun teritorioj tiom for sude kiom ĝis Baja California kaj Orienta Ĉinio. La nuraj esceptoj estas Pholis gunnellus el la Norda Atlantiko,[1] kaj la P. fasciata el la Arkta Maro, Norda Atlantiko kaj Norda Pacifiko.[2] Ili tipe atingas maksimumam longon de 20-30 cm, sed Apodichthys flavidus atingas 46 cm.[3] Ili manĝas malgrandajn krustulojn kaj moluskojn.
