Exif (angle exchangeable image file format – interŝanĝebla bild-dosiera formo) estas normo por aldoni metadatumojn al bilddosieroj, uzata de ciferecaj fotiloj. Exif-etikedoj povas esti aldonitaj al dosieroj en la datenaranĝoj JPEG, TIFF 6.0 kaj sondosieroj de la strukturo RIFF kaj WAV.

La exif-etikedoj de fotoj kutime enhavas informojn almenaŭ pri la tipo de fotilo uzita, pri la eksponotempo, pri la aperturo, pri la fokusa distanco, ĉu estis uzita fulmilo, pri la maksimuma aperturo de la objektivo, pri la distingivo kaj dimensioj per kiuj estis kreita la bild-dosiero, pri la dato de la kreado kaj tiel plu. Ofte oni povas en la exif-etikedoj trovi eĉ la serian numeron de la uzita fotilo.

Estas loko ankaŭ por geo-etikedoj en la formo exif, do se fotilo enhavas gps-sentilon, ĝi povas aŭtomate aldoni la koordinatojn de la loko, kie la foto estis farita.
