Ermitokrabo

Ermitokraboj aŭ Ermit-kraboj aŭ nure Paguroj estas dekpiedulaj krustuloj el la superfamilio Paguroidea.[1] Plejmulto el la 1100 specioj havas nesimetrian abdomenon, kiu estas taŭga adaptaĵo por eniri la malplenan gastropodan konkon portatan de la ermitokrabo. Tiuj abdomenoj estas mildaj kompare kun la pli malmolaj de aliaj krustuloj. Ili nomiĝas populare paguroj.
Iuj pli grandaj maraj specioj, kiuj subtenas unu aŭ pli da maranemonoj sur la ŝelo, povas timigi predantojn. La maranemono profitas ankaŭ, ĉar ĝi estas en pozicio por konsumi manĝeretojn de la ermitokrabo.
