Endometriozo

Endometriozo estas malsano en kiu histo kiu normale kreskas ene de la utero kreskas ekster ĝi.[1] La ĉefaj simptomoj estas pelva doloro kaj nefekundeco. Preskaŭ duono de la virinoj tuŝitaj havas kronikan pelvan doloron, dum en 70% el la kazoj la doloro okazas dum la menstruo. Doloro okazas ofte ankaŭ dum seksumado. Nefekundeco okazas en ĝis duono de la virinoj.[2] Malplej oftaj simptomoj estas urinaj aŭ intestaj simptomoj. Ĉirkaŭ 25% el la virinoj ne havas simptomojn.[2] Endometriozo povas havi kaj sociajn kaj psikologiajn rezultojn.[3]
