Edit Balás[1][2] naskiĝis la  7-an de aŭgusto 1918 (nun 1918-08-07) en Budapeŝto, ŝi mortis la 20-an de februaro 1994 en Budapeŝto.

Biografio

Edit Balás akiris diplomon en Scienca Universitato Péter Pázmány en 1943. Post la diplomo ŝi estis bibliotekisto 2 jarojn en la parlamenta biblioteko, poste 5 jarojn ŝi laboris en la ĉefurba edukcentro, pli poste 3 jarojn en ĉefurba bildgalerio. En 1953 tiu bilgalerio aliĝis al Belarta Muzeo (Budapeŝto), tial ŝi trovis sin en la muzeo. Ŝi restis tie ĝis la emeritiĝo en 1983, tamen pro muzea disiĝo ŝi pasis 2 jarojn en nova muzeo. Intertempe ŝi kandidatiĝis (CSc) en 1973 antaŭ la Hungara Scienca Akademio kaj ŝi studvojaĝis post 3 jaroj en Francio. Ŝi edziniĝis en 1943, en la sekva jaro ŝi naskis filon; iam ŝi divorcis.
